Personally, I am a big fan of the IPA as a new beer – the American IPA is so well-received, but the Dirt beer concept is a thing that’s far more important. I think there’s been a lot of effort to make it viable. Many people are now switching away from a common IPA/Dirt format to a Dirt one. Some industry experts say it’s a mistake, and it cost far more to do so than to waste more effort… there seems to be a large amount of pressure on these two breweries.
